I am deeply honored and privileged to serve as the President of the Elm Grove Junior Guild for the 2017- 2018 year.  It is a humbling place to be – at your service, entrusted with an amazing legacy. I believe that how we work together and the example we set is just as, if not more, important than the exciting programs and projects we will tackle this year (though these achievements will be nothing short of spectacular)!

The Elm Grove Junior Guild is a non-profit organization operated by our all-women volunteer membership. I am grateful to serve alongside such passionate women and am proud to continue our legacy of empowering women to create a positive impact on our community.

Three and a half years ago I joined the Elm Grove Junior Guild (EGJG) because I wanted to make an impact in my own community, by participating in projects that not only addressed the needs of my neighbors, but represented my passion and dedication to the empowerment of women and children.  In this short time, I have an immense amount of respect for our organization, our members, and the goals we continue working to achieve in our community year after year.  We truly are an organization of women who come from a variety of backgrounds with different talents, likes, and ideas and it’s amazing to see everyone come together for the good of our community.

My theme this year is “Aim for Impact!” Diversifying our revenue through innovative fund development methods will allow us to continue to deliver on our promises to the community. We will strengthen our understanding and value of servant leadership by reconnecting with the Guild’s mission and supporting one another in our commitment to service.  As the EGJG enters its 52nd year of service to the Village of Elm Grove and communities throughout Southeastern Wisconsin, we remain committed to empowering women and enriching the lives of children via our granting process.

Thank you for your interest in the Elm Grove Junior Guild. Whether you are searching for information about our community projects, our grants program or are thinking of becoming a member, we invite you to explore our website and learn more about how our passionate volunteers are impacting the lives of women and children throughout Southeastern Wisconsin!

I would like to take this time to thank all of our donors and sponsors. I look forward to continuing our relationship–without your support, we could not be women as catalysts for lasting change!

And finally, I want to especially thank our 2017-18 Executive Board and Committee Chairs for their willingness to help lead our fantastic organization.

I’m so excited to kick off our 52nd year with all of you!

Warmest Regards,

Kristina Sayas
