GRANTING PROCESS

Thank you for your interest in the Elm Grove Junior Guild 2023-24 Grant Program.

The Elm Grove Junior Guild is a community of women committed to the education, wellness and protection of all women and children. Our commitment takes the form of service, awareness and financial support.

Seventy-five percent of all money raised through our annual fundraising efforts, including the Tree of Giving Gala is granted to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that serve the women, children and families of Waukesha and Milwaukee counties. Typical grant disbursement is in the range of $500-$10,000.

Additionally, our organization gives twenty-five percent of money raised to support projects within our home community, the Village of Elm Grove.

We invite all non-profit organizations to apply for funding through our grant programs. Please read the instructions below before you begin the application process. Doing so will help you present a strong proposal and avoid any unnecessary delays in the completion and consideration of your application.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING GRANT REQUESTS

  1. Fill out the grant application below between October 1 and November 30th, 2023. Our general membership will vote on initial submissions. Ten to fifteen organizations are typically selected as finalists.
  2. All finalist organizations being considered for a grant must make a presentation at the Elm Grove Junior Guild’s meeting to be held at the Elm Grove Woman’s Club on the evening of Tuesday, February 6, 2023.
  3. The application must be completed in full for consideration. Please note that any organizations that received a grant in 2022-23 must complete “SECTION C” of the application. If your organization did not receive a grant in the spring of 2023, you are not required to complete “SECTION C.” Note: SECTION C will only appear after you have selected “yes” to answer the final question in SECTION B: “Did your organization receive a grant from the Elm Grove Junior Guild in the 2022-2023 cycle?”
